My home renovations have been my dream for over 10 years.  My first set of plans did not come to fruition, but a few years later I was fortunate enough to meet Amer of Evolve Design, who helped me restart my project and give my old plans new life.  Sadly, due to various matters such as work, family and a global pandemic, the works were stalled for a second time, but Amer’s calmness and incredible patience helped me through a third planning application and two Party Wall Awards, none of which I could have achieved without his hard work.  I am most grateful for his expertise and advice throughout and am pleased to say that contracts are being signed and I should be breaking ground within a month.  My 10 year dream is almost a reality, but am only at this stage due to Amer’s help and guidance over the past 4 years.  Thank you Amer for sticking with me and never giving up on my project.

I consulted Evolve Design to help with full planning and building regulations plans for a single storey extension , loft conversion and with the layout change of 2 floors of a flat in Trinity Road,  Tooting Bec. 

The service was great from start to finish. Amer was very responsive by email and phone. Amer carried out the initial survey and drew up the plans and dealt with numerous issues raised by the planning department in a prompt and efficient manner. He also introduced me to a structural engineer as well as a building control firm. It was a very professional service and they kept to their time estimate.

Rear double and single storey extension, full roof replacement with loft conversion.

We have met Amer during one of our visits to Homebuilding Shows. After getting few quotes we have chosen Amer for our project. His pricing was transparent and reasonable. Amer took care of all aspects including, Architectural drawings, Building regulation drawings and Engineering drawings as well as submissions to council. His clever tactics and valuable advice allowed us to increase the living space from 186 to almost 300 square metres, plus double the size of garage (this is unheard of). His strategic approach allowed us to get planning applications approved from the first submission. During the whole process, I do not know how he managed, but he answered to all our calls, visited the site whenever needed. 

Furthermore he also recommended a very good building contractor who is also a pleasure to work with. My experience with Evolve Design was outstanding. Would recommend Evolve Design to anyone who is looking for fast and stress free design service. I have to admit there is one cons: Amer cannot read minds, you cannot forget to mention that you want 9 square meter glass on top of the new flat roof.

I instructed Amer from Evolve Design in 2016 to work on designing a new rear extension for my house in Effingham in Surrey.

It was a rather unusual situation because I wanted to attempt to keep the cost down by retaining as much of the original conservatory structure and avoid demolishing it completely. Amer devised a scheme that incorporated parts of the conservatory and also utilising all of the glazing where possible which was re-used in the rear elevation of the new extension. In fact a new roof for the rear extension also extended over the conservatory to save on cost.

All together the result was amazing and we managed to keep on budget to the original figures that we aimed to achieve.

I was introduced to Amer by a friend "Adam" who had worked with Amer on his project in Ottershaw, Surrey.

I like the fact that he spent a good amount of time with me to discuss all of the options I had and even sketched a few designs to assist me to visualise ideas, so that in the end I was able to make a real informed decision before proceeding with the scheme.

I highly recommend Amer and his team for anyone looking to have their property remodelled or have any extensions built. 

In a word he is "Fantastic".

Would highly recommend the design service! In the Spring of 2016 at my parents house we wanted to create additional living space through an extension. Including a new bathroom and utility. I wanted to give my mum the kitchen of her dreams, which seems the case with the number of compliments I have received. Together with Amer's incredible knowledge we configured a layout that not only made use of all the space, but in a way to reduce the overall build cost. 

I would highly recommend Amer, as he will work with you to achieve what you've always wanted, but at the same time will give you honest advice  if an idea is not practical, but if we really want something he'll recommend the best way of doing it.
